When it comes to starting base pay, marketing is dominated by the top-ranked programs. In fact, five-of-the-six highest-paying programs also rank the Top 5 MBA programs according to U.S. News. Even there, Berkeley Haas, which ranked 7th overall, is the only outlier. After that, the pay trends get real interesting. The University of Washington’s Foster School of Business stood at $116,696 – a number that speaks to the demands of nearby juggernauts like Amazon and Microsoft. In fact, pay for Foster grads entering marketing has skyrocketed by $16,244 since 2015, a number that edges out Wharton ($14,220) and USC Marshall ($13,683).
